[JOB PURPOSE/PRIORITIES]
Support Head of Ethics and Business Integrity – Korea (¡°Compliance Officer¡±) for ensuring the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective compliance programs aligned with the Global EBI¡¯s directions (¡°the Compliance Program¡±) within Sanofi Group Korea.
[KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES]
Shall support Ethics and Business Integrity department, as needed, instructed and/or guided by Head of Ethics and Business Integrity of Korea in the work of:
- Implementing and overseeing the effectiveness of the Compliance Program elements and framework as designed and defined by Global Ethics and Business Integrity;
- Developing, disseminating, and ensuring development of written policies and procedures designed to ensure compliance in all aspects of the company¡¯s activities;
-Providing strategic and effective tactical support through appropriate communications, consultation, etc. on business ethics-related issues to the business and the organization
-Conducting monitoring, audit and/or internal investigation, on a regular or ad-hoc basis, including primary case review, documentation of evidence, relevant system management, case report preparation and implementation of corrective and disciplinary actions, and follow-up of the relevant legal disputes;
-Preparing reports for the Country Council and Ethics and Business Integrity (¡°EBI¡±) Committee meetings regarding the status and effectiveness of the Compliance Program, compliance obligations and/or related issues, investigation and resolution of relevant issues and corrective actions;
-Devising and implementing various compliance communications, networks and programs to fostering compliance culture of the organization and enhancing the operational integrity of the organization, and the ethical mindset of the employees;
-Devising and implementing anti-bribery and ethics-related processes including but not limited to compliance-based retention (Conflict of Interest management, etc.) and management of third parties (anti-bribery due diligence etc.);
-Interacting with the relevant governmental and public offices, the KRPIA and other related industry forums to represent and demonstrate Sanofi¡¯s highest ethical standards;
-Closely monitoring healthcare system, laws and regulations and advise Compliance Officer for aligning with the changing environment; and
-Other tasks of relevance.
Shall have the primary responsibility for, under the supervision of Compliance Officer,
-Managing the logistics of EBI department including but not limited to organizing committees, networks meetings, compliance events and trainings, etc.;
-Keeping and managing compliance-related records, documents, systems, database and archives;
-Managing third party agencies and other administrative resources the EBI department uses for its operation;
-Managing team¡¯s budget and cost, operational schedule and stationery and team¡¯s space and cabinets; and
-Providing secretary support for Compliance Officer as and if needed.
[QUALIFICATIONS]
Language skills: Both fluent in English and Korean Education:Appropriate Degree in any discipline (Master preferred)CPA, MBA degree, or lawyer license is plus. Experience & knowledge:
