The Market Access Assitant manager is responsible for assisting Market Access Manager in developing and implementing pricing and reimbursement related projects including budget impact analysis, economic evaluation, outcome research and pricing anayses to maximize sales and market penetration and ensure long-term profitability objectives are met.
Main Responsibility
1. Strategy Development
- Contribute to strategy development and implementation.
- Assist Market Access Manager to co-ordinate meetings with HIRA, KOLs and vendors
- Cross-functional approach to optimize strategy (including marketing, medical affairs, regulatory)
- Scientific input related to P&R projects
2. Quality submissions
- Project management including planning, implementation and monitoring
- Develop or adapt HO research and budget impact analysis
- Prepare documentation related to P&R projects including PE/P&R dossier
- Co-ordinate/ complete post-submission tasks, such as assiting with pricing and listing
3. Data gap filling
- Identify data gaps
- Data collection (audit, survey, literature review)
- KOL-related input (Expert Report)
4. Effective Replationships
- Together with Market Access Manager, develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external
customers including HIRA, NHIC, KOLs and Regional and Global teams
5. Personal / Professional Development
- Maintain and keep up to date with health economics technical competency
- Maintain good knowledge of policy issues impacting the external environment
Education and Experience
- Degree in Pharmacy , Science, Economics or Medicine
- More than 2 years experience in conducting HIRA submissions and assisting pricing negotiation
- Preferred Postgraduate qualifications such as MSc Health Economics / Mast or Public Health (or equivalent)
- Good Understnand of clinical / medicines and Korean health systems
Essentials Skills and Abilities
- Excellent Proficiency in both Korean and English (both verbal and writing skills)
- Familiar with the practical application of clinical / economic instruments
- Ability to influence key stakeholders
- General computer literacy with Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
