Position Summary:
General Field Sales & Account Management work is focused on face-to-face selling and account management activities including:
- Face-to-face sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers
- Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions
- Developing and delivering sales bids/proposals/presentations and conducting product demonstrations
- Developing medium to long-term sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with targeted customers Incumbents in this specialization may be selling directly to the ultimate purchaser or indirectly through channel partners.
Essential Job Functions:
- It is hybrid role, 70% team management and 30% individual account management
1) Supervises sales representatives. Responsibilities typically include:
- Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team.
- Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
2) Be responsible for the individual account. Responsibilities typically include:
- Promote products & procedures to customer staff and develops a strong relationship with customers
- Serve multiple large and/or key accounts in a prescribed territory
- Develop and execute competitive action plans to achieve sales target in territory
- Pick up product knowledge, information, procedures to be a specialist in area
- Launch products to target customers through sales promotion and activity
- Promotes and coordinates Professional Education activities extensively to enhance the knowledge of healthcare professionals
- Monitor customer`s unmet needs
- Focus on key products and new products aligned with the strategy of company
- Instant and accurate reporting about product complaints complying with company policy
- Report market situation and competitor activity to upper level with accuracy
- Harmonize with staffs of distributor through effective communication to develop in-charge territory
- Learn and memorize company mission and value for execution
Job Requirements
- University graduate
- Sales experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Above 10 years total experienced preferred
- Above 1 year people management experienced preferred
- Effective communication skills, over moderate level
- Business English speaking
- Excellent interpersonal skill
