JOB PURPOSE/PRIORITIES:
1. Develop and support clinical research projects in a therapeutic area (TA) assigned
2. Medical review and information service for internal and external customers
3. Reinforce medico-marketing and medico-sales interface in accordance with company goals
4. Medical & scientific support to crossfunctional teams
5. Build relationship with key opinion leaders, MSAs, and external authorities
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT:
People management is considered depending on candidates¡¯ profile and preference
Internal: cross-functional activities with other department (BU, RAMAPA, CSU, communications etc)
External: key opinion leaders in relevant TA
SUPERVISED RESOURCES:
MLs will report to Medical Head with a solid line
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Clinical research development
1) Develop local studies in accordance with medical/ marketing / regulatory needs
2) Supervise and manage studies relevant to the products for their success.
3) Provide appropriate medical input to clinical operation department
4) Contribute to publication of those clinical studies
5) Support clinical research unit and regulatory affairs/market access to support their strategies and conduct of their clinical studies
2. Medico-marketing management
1) Contribute to developing brand plans and strategies
2) Locate, step up and maintain relationship with KOLs and the authorities
3) Build up effective partnership with Marketing & Sales
4) Reinforce Medico-Marketing and Medico-Sales Interface in accordance with Company¡¯s goal
5) Utilize data in CME and sales-marketing program
3. Medico-scientific management
1) Develop medical brand plans and strategies
2) Medical review and information service
3) Contribute to high value-added medical programs
4) Facilitate scientific communication through advisory board meeting, symposium, congresses etc
5) Contribute to education of internal customers with state-of-the-art knowledge as well as basic science
6) Provide scientific support to new opportunities (business deal)
¡°Desirable¡± / compromise experience
Language skills:
Fluent in local language (Korean) and good command of both written & spoken English
Education:
MD, Sub-specialty of relevant TA is preferred
Experience & knowledge:
Knowledge and experience in relevant work scope are preferred such as clinical pharmacology and epidemiology, Statistics and data management, Healthcare policy & pharmacoeconomic knowledge
