Responsible for understanding the customer needs and requirements in order to translate them into software solution requirements and map to existing product capabilities
Responsible for researching and understanding the functionality required of our existing shop floor systems as well as new solutions for which we could benefit.
Work with cross functional teams to recommend and select shop floor systems.
Conduct comprehensive research and apply experience to optimize shop floor systems and processes.
Work Directly with development teams on delivery and acceptance of new solutions and features.
Experienced in project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize project deliverables
Create and maintain documentation and process flows for all shop floor projects and systems.
Assist in the creation of templates and/or standards for shop floor systems.
Ready to travel onsite for site deployments and facilitation of Level 2/SCADA or Level 3 solutions
Ability to document as-is processes and future state processes.
Serve as the liaison between the plant, business, IT, and the Integrator teams
Responsible for requirement analysis, design and deployment of Level 2/SCADA and/or Level 3 shop floor systems.
Responsible for maintaining and supporting of Level 2/Scada and/or Level 3 shop floor systems by collaborating with internal cross functional teams to solve the key problems and technical problems in the system.
Manage/Prioritize enhancement requests; collaborate with other cross functional teams as required.
Review test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participate in testing the solution to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements.
Communication Skills: Communicate effectively project status, issue escalations & resolutions, and other events. Create power point presentations to help communicate technical, organizational, and project concepts and status. Participate in and contribute to status and planning meetings with the manufacturing operations staff.

¤ý Bachelor¡¯s degree in the field of computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
* 3-5 years of manufacturing plant support experience including plant automation and information technology solutions. Experience in GMP environment required.
* Experience with:
- Basic Understanding of Windows servers, (Desired)
- Serialization solutions (desired)
- high availability architectures (desired)
- SQL database (desired)
- Laetus application (desired)
- XML and transfer protocols (desired)
- Authentication protocols (LDAP) (desired)
- development and execution of disaster recovery plans (desired)
- deployment of an MES ( Manufacturing Execution System ) is a plus, such as Wonderware, SAP MII/ME, Factory Talk, or Apriso.
- Manufacturing shop floor systems, Level 2 or Level 3 Systems.
- MS office products such as Word, Excel, Visio, and Powerpoint ( required )
- Project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall ( required )
- Process mapping, process flow diagrams, requirements analysis and documentation, functional specifications, gap analysis, solution definition, as-is and to-be documentation ( Required )
- Experience in SAP ( a plus )
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment ( a plus )
*Knowledge of:
-business systems surrounding the Manufacturing environment ( such as ERP/WMS ).
-interfaces with Level 2 (PLC, SCADA, Printers, Scales, Labeling, etc..), Level 3, and/or Level 4 (ERP).
-ISA 95 Standards and plant automations
