SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As a member of the Marketing team, this role works closely with sales team, local cross-functional teams, and regional marketing to develop and implement marketing plans to meet sales targets, gross margin targets, market share targets and P/L targets.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop marketing plans for a product or product line through market research, competitive analysis, pricing, customer engagement and business planning.· Create marketing campaigns / product promotion plans for key focus products with the input from sales teams, customers. · Track ROI on marketing activities. · Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues and costs against forecasts; and adapt short & long term plans to improve the sales performanceDevelop product management documentation, including product concept proposals, business cases, launch plans based on NPI/MAP process , product collateral, sales training material and productmarketing collateral.
Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.Drive/deliver marketing events (such as seminars) and coordinate with the sales teams for implementation. Develop new product features and benefits in partnership with manufacturers and regional market teams. Ensure the effective implementation to the sales team.Develop and enhance KOL relationship to support Dentsply in CE, educational activities.
Provide regular sales performance analysis for the marketing manager to monitor the achievement against targets and identify improvement areas.Support financial requirements of product management including pricing, budgets and forecasting.Actively communicating across franchises to share and learn best marketing practices to continuously facilitate a team work approach. Other duties as assigned.
Determine, develop and deliver required product knowledge for roles across business to ensure effective sales and operations.Provide in-field product training/coaching to both internal and external stakeholders, as required.Via self-directed learning, proactive and effective involvement in training and development, and market research, ensure ongoing currency of; product and market knowledge, sales skills, systems knowledge, and internal processes. Ensure understanding and adhere to all compliance requirements. Building and protecting Dentsply’s brand as a company with ‘unquestionable integrity’.

KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree is required
MBA is a plus
3-5+ years of product and/or sales management in life science medical device / dental products or related field preferred.
Project management experience
Experience of multi-cultural environment and ability to cooperate with cross functional teams preferred.
Operational experience in working with field sales teams & cross functional support teams.
Specific knowledge / Skills
Strong project management, analytical, planning and presentation skills.
Effective business planning, event organization and implementation skills
Good initiative and self-motivated
Ability to work under tight deadlines/pressures
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Micro-soft Excel power user
Fluent in English is preferred
Willing and able to travel at least 30%
